He won the 2009 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad, the Best Faculty PhD Thesis Award at Swinburne University of Technology, he also received the Nomination Award for Outstanding Young Scientists, ACM and CCF (Shanghai Chapter) in 2014, and he was also the Finalist for 2014 Young Australia-China Alumni of the Year Award.

报告简介

Cloud workflow has been extensively used in both scientific research and business process management. Typical scientific workflow examples including weather forecast, pulsar searching, and simulation for high-energy physics, and typical business workflow examples include travel bookings, bank transactions and securities exchanges. In this talk, I will introduce a few typical applications of cloud workflows and some selected research topics including the design of cloud workflow system, Quality of Service (QoS) management, data management, workflow scheduling and process mining.
